If you can remember last year I brought a pack of 20 DH tubes and in the end they did not fit my rims. When last night I had a look and they do not fit my new rims either. So I have 6 left and if you want DH tubes and you can fit a presta valve then let me know and you can have a few.

Thank god the trip is still 6 weeks off, this is the weather in Morzine this week. Looks like it could be a bit wet !

It seemed that some were hoping that planning permission was not going to be granted for the Pleny Lift to be rebuild. This is now not such
a issues as the top life station has had a large fire.

"39 firefighters were involved in putting out a fire yesterday that has destroyed the top of the Pleney cable car in Morzine.
The alarm was raised yesterday morning as people below in town saw the flames high up on the mountain side.
The fire was under control by 6am and, although investigations are still under way as to the cause of the fire, it is
thought that it may have been caused by the ongoing work to remove the cable car. The location, reached only by fire road,
made it difficult to access for the fire crews, but thankfully they managed to save the snack restaurant directly next to it, which
just suffered from a small amount of damage to the roof. A telecommunication tower was however not so lucky and was destroyed.

The gondola is being replaced by a new, faster lift and so was due to be completely removed at some point this summer anyway."

Conspiracy theorists will be coming up with all sorts of storied now !
