Just seen your new road bike, nice, well worth getting out on, little less muddy than off road at the moment.

Being a newbie I'm interested in a ride. Might be out for a ride Saturday though (with my dad whilst he's over here) and probably won't be able to do both unless it's local.

Morning Eighty Eight,

Well you are always welcome if there is a ride posted that you fancy tagging along.

As long as you are out on the bike having a good time that is all that matters.

cheers
lee

I have spoken with Graham and he is happy to take us on a tour of the Malvern's on Sunday. Can you confirm if you are in or not as I don't think there is much point in 2 or 3 of us going, we could save it for another day when more people can make it.
If we don't go to the above me and Lee are thinking the Wall as we have not done it for a while or are open to any suggestions to do a new trail as where ever we go it will be wet and muddy :)

I can't make sun. Have a good one.
- The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
- No one gets hurt in the air
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

I can remember looking at the Malverns before, it is not a big area so not a lot of trail, plus it was very bad in the winter if wet. So we should definitely go in the dryer months, The only problem is then there will be so many other trails to do as well

This is one bad thing about trail centers, because generally they are man made so the water does not stand on the trail then there is also less mud. So you end up doing the trail centers more and more and giving the old school stuff a miss. But it is the old school stuff that can be surprisingly fun in the winter as well.

We need a plan for next Sunday as it looks like we are going to very little rain next week so should do an old school ride ! Just where ? There are loads of trails in the Brecons Beacons, but they aren't any that have the fun of trail centers.
