Also keep in mind that a dh bike is not the same as a mini dh bike.

Mini dh bikes are the exact (very similar) same size and geo as a full on dh bike but with less travel. I would not consider a mini dh bike at all, not for us.

We like to have the security of the full 200mm travel and for the riding we do in the Alps the 951 would be perfect. I will probably end up with one myself (or equivilant) when I replace the flatlne is a couple of years. But for now the flatline is what I need, if a bit too heavy, but I have some upgrades on the way to hopefully shift some weight.

I wouldn't go for the voltage as it is really a budget bike that although no doupt capable is not in my opion in the same league as the 951 or any other budget dh bike.
How hard can it be?

What other upgrades have you made apart from the Ti spring?

Got me a new Race Face Atlas crank and sone new pedals, along with the ti spring I think it will save over a pound - the spring alone was 13oz.

Nice work.

Harper 7's been telling me his bike has lost around 14lb, mostly around the saddle area :cheer:

Lee,are these any good and do you like?
It looks nice and could be a bargain if you are the only bidder. Also Bristol based.

Cheers Justin, does not float my boat.....looks a bit old fashioned.
If at first you dont succeed, spend 6 hrs in casualty, then try again !!!
