We parked at Middle Point road and Hwy 101, rode the Hwy to the start line in Madeira Park Way Point 1 (arrival day4) and continued along the actual route that takes the riders along the Hwy for a couple of Km to Maneker where riders head for the trails, at the end of the road it starts to climb, about 100m up the hill the road splits, the left fork goes to the power lines and the next WP(Singletrack @ power line) the trail parallels the PL and crossed back and forth a couple of times, about 1.5 Km along riders come to the next WP(Entry to Scary Hill By-Pass). Rider take a small trail across the PL and into Scary Hill By-Pass, it’s a tight single track in a young forest, lots of moss, few roots and a lot of fun. Pop out onto a road and go left, up a short hill and 50m you will find Cougars on the left WP (Entry to Cougars) upon reaching the next road go right to the next intersection WP(Sharp left ….) from there race down the road, careful not to run into any dead cars that may have been abandoned (kids you know) The entrance to WP (Entry to Dry Feet) just before the end of the road, ( bridge was pulled out) at the other end of the trail turn right and duck under the red gate and take the next left, stay on the may road which is fairly straight, there’s a few spurs going of left and right but the WP(Entry to Brian’s Loop) is at the far end. Take the trail to WP(Turn Left @ T) This trail starts out a bit wide but goes to a fun very tight ride very fast. You pop out onto a newly built road that is mostly blasted rock but rides quite well and not to long. At WP(Left into trail….) the road take a right over the creek but riders go left into the trail that will bring the rides back to the power line, turn right and continue to WP (End of Loop). From there riders can ride down the logging road back to the hwy and their car or as an option to add some more distance they can continue along the power line, they will climb for a short while maybe 15-20 min and end up at the high point, from there the road continues for maybe .5 Km and turns left away from the power line for about 1km or so, look for a marker indicating the Suncoast Trail, turn right into it, this trail or small road parallels the power lines and takes you to another logging road. At this point turn down the road and this will take you to the hwy turn right and ride to your car a few km up the road.
