With more than 1,100 kilometres of cycling trails, Ischgl and the Paznaun valley are among the most diverse mountain bike regions of the Alps. There are a wide range of trails from easy day trips and family excursions on two wheels in the valley itself, to day tours and marathons to summits more than 3,000 metres above sea level, and enduro tours originating at cable car stations. The Mathon circular valley trail belongs to the first category - a short circular trail perfectly suited to explore the Paznaun valley in Tyrol on the day of your arrival. The circular trail is perfect for mountain bike beginners and families with children. Exceptional stamina and cycling experience are not required. Cycle to Mathon on tarmac roads and gravel trails over gently rolling hills - and back to your point of origin via the other side of the valley on the Mathias Schmid Kunstlehr trail - an artist's trail where paintings of the Tyrolean master give an insight into the Tyrolean way of life.
