Thanks Lee and Nathan - Trialled the 1 x 10 setup on Sunday and it was awesome! Went round Cwmcarn without too much difficulty and I figure if it's okay for that climb it's okay for anything! Slight bit of rub on chain device in lowest couple of gears (despite my best fettling efforts with miniscule BB spacers), but hardly noticable and might even be able to get rid by tweeking the angle of the chain device.

Nice one, I have used a single up front to over a year now and I cant see why anyone would need anything different for the trails we do. Unless you do a lot of road then 1x10 is all you need.

Please less crap on the bike (no cable to sort or front mech to oil) and over a pound lighter. Bonus all round ;)
If at first you dont succeed, spend 6 hrs in casualty, then try again !!!
