Lee, you only saw the "head of the beast". He was hibernating away from the cold in his winter lair
- The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
- No one gets hurt in the air
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

Thanks for letting me come along. I really enjoyed it, apart from my numb toes.

The frozen mud has been removed with hot soapy water and the bike is looking shiny again. I had to do the pee trick on my bottom jockey wheel too but ran out before I could unfreeze my front mech!!

Certainly interesting first ride and look fwd to the next one.

Hope everyone got home safe.

Until next time.

Good Ride today guys, was not the most fun or technical riding. But it was out and doing something...though was a lot muddier that I thought it would be :pinch:

I think the part I am going to try and remove from my memory as soon as I can was Justin having to Piss on his rear mech to unfreeze the jockey wheels. :SI would say it was not a pretty sight, but to be honest it was so small with it being cold that we almost needed a DNA test to make sure he was not a female !
If at first you dont succeed, spend 6 hrs in casualty, then try again !!!

Think I'll give it a miss tomorrow guys 'n gals. Not sure if it's worth risking the drive from Swindon for a loop round a snowy AC/LW.

Have a good one and I'll see you in a few weeks as I'm off to the Alps next Sat.
