Evening chaps. Glad you had a good 'un on Monday. I do like that Cheddar ride.

We had an awesome weekend in N.Wales. Antur Stiniog on Friday was great fun - dry and almost no wind. Unbelievable! Just me and one other mate who's a very occasional rider. He borrowed the sh1tmobile (my Pitch) and he stuck to the blue and red runs all day, and he really enjoyed it.....although he found it pretty tough physically. We swapped over for several runs and he used my DH bike, which made it a bit easier for him. I actually really enjoyed the runs on the Pitch, although wasn't ideally suited to the Black runs :pinch: . The trails have bedded in a bit since last year and a few of the rocky step sections are a lot more challenging now as a lot of the loose grit has worn away, leaving some pretty tricky lines.

Rode the Dragons Back on Sat and MBR plus a few extra sections on Sun. I really enjoyed riding the Whyte up there. It's absolutely made for those trails and can't believe there are many quicker bikes on that terrain. I'd have to say that MBR is my favourite trail centre route.....especially when you tag on the Dragons Back descents and a trip to the little cafe on the Dragons Back route ;).

All in all, a great weekend. We really should organise a NBMBC trip up there.

Satnav, how was CYB and Stiniog?
- The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
- No one gets hurt in the air
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

Yep, top ride. Two potentially ride ending mechanicals fixed. Dry trails finished with cracking bit of downhill. :woohoo:

Nice one, shame I missed it, but it could not be helped.
If at first you dont succeed, spend 6 hrs in casualty, then try again !!!
