Well we know where the end comes out, so just fining the start !

Alternatives, which include some pedalling, are descending the ridge line from the Mont Chery summit down to Mont Caly. This trail has a combination of rock gardens, tree route sections and fast ruts near the top. From Mont Caly traverse the trail to Encrenaz and onwards to the ‘Dangerous trail’ to bring your full circle back to the Les Gets side of Mont Chery.
If at first you dont succeed, spend 6 hrs in casualty, then try again !!!

Yeah, it sounds like there are a few off piste options over on Mont Chery that we've yet to discover. The Gnome trail (some people call it Gollum) seems like the standard stuff, and Slayer (www.pinkbike.com/video/335783/) is very easy to find partway down the main line........and steep!

Nice one Paul,

It is definitely worth a look and spending some more time over there this year. I was reading about a trail that start on the trail and run off tot he end of the valley. it is hard to explain with out a map, but again may be worth a look and something we have not dine before.

Also we not do this straight after lunch like last year ! I felt my omelette wanting to join us on the trail !

Looks like there's been plenty of building work happening over on Mont Chery.........

Looking quite 'bike park' style, so not necessarily everyone's cup of tea but definitely worth a look and I'm sure there will be some fun stuff for us to hit in amongst it. Reading one of the threads on Pinkbike, sounds like there's been work done on the Pleney and over at Chatel also, so should be plenty of new stuff to have a play on.

Even if it turns out not to be our style of riding, any new stuff is good news as will no doubt draw some of the crowds away from other areas ;) .
