Mine turned up yesterday and it is a nice bit of kit for the money. I have not lost the chain on the trails bike yet so and going to put it on the DH and try it. No loss and will take my chain device as well to alps just in case.

Personally I think the one of my trail bike is the best bit of kit I have brought for many year. It is simple and just works.
If at first you dont succeed, spend 6 hrs in casualty, then try again !!!

I think i will get a superstar 36 on the downhill bike for the alps. If it doesn't work out I can always put the chain device back on, and at least I'll have a 36 for the trail bike to use in the summer. I find the 34 is easy to spin out on dry fast trails.
How hard can it be?

Nice one, you will be able to get yourself a 32T one now to stop you walking up all the steep hills ;-)

Hopefully the superstar ones are as easy to bash back in a straight line with a rock as the raceface ones :-)
- The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
- No one gets hurt in the air
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

Hi Guys

Just gone single on the intense 275 and love it

Came from a 2 x 10 speed clutch mech and was getting chain drops on front

Got a T-rex 40 - 11 rear cassette and 34 thick thin single front....

Perfect all round
