He's got it. £500.00 including a carbon THE helmet. The bike is in pretty good nick, just needs some wider bars! The DH club is now 5 strong
- The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.
- No one gets hurt in the air
- There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

Glyn is spot on with what he has said, and I think you may be best to keep looking something else will come along especially in the current climate.

Think I'm gonna give it a miss, been doing a bit of research online and 24 front and back seem to have been an experimental option that never really caught on. Alot of people slag them and the 26 front / 24 rear combo.

Bit of a shame, looked like an nice bike in gate condition....
There had better be some downhill after this climb...

Pre 2006 the bighit has a rear wheel of 24inches and front of 26. Some people chose to run 24 at both ends. A 2007 model should have 26inch front and back. Smaller wheels will accelerate faster but not so good over the rough stuff (thats why they always had 26 on the front) and if it is a 2007 putting smaller wheels on would also lower the BB, which I think is already quite low.

I would confirm that it is a 2007 and if so you could always change the wheels later but it would cost. So maybe he could know £150 off the price?
How hard can it be?

Been chatting to the guy today and it has 24 inch wheels, is this normal? Any ideas on the pros and cons?
